Statement of Faith
I. God
Triune – there is One God Who has revealed Himself in three distinct yet perfectly unified persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. He is the Creator of all things, and in Him all things hold together and have their being. He has no beginning and no end. He is Holy, Holy, Holy, and worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. (Gen 1:1, Matt 28:19, Col 1:16-17, Rev 4:8-11)
Father – Perfect in all His attributes, He is both merciful and just. He has stored up wrath for the sons of disobedience. But as many as received His Son to them He gave the right to become children of God. Though He is fatherly in all His attributes, He is only the Heavenly Father of those who have been adopted as sons and daughters. (Rom 8:15-16, Gal 4:4-5, Eph 5:6)
Son – Eternally divine, He left the glory of heaven, emptied Himself and took on the form of a bondservant. Born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He is the exact representation of the Father and the perfect Son of Man. Being sinless, He became sin and bore the wrath of God as the perfect substitution. He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. He will one day return in power and glory leading to the consummation of all things. (John 1:1, 1 Cor, 15:3-4, 2 Cor 5:21, Phil 2:6-7, Heb 1:3, Rev 19:11-16)
Spirit – Equal with the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit is a unique person not an impersonal force. He indwells all believers and seals them unto the day of redemption. He illumines the Word of God and empowers believers to walk in obedience to it. (Matt 28:19, 1 Cor 2:10-12, Gal 5:16-25, Eph 1:13-14)
II. Scriptures
Inerrant – The Bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of God. It is inspired, literally God breathed. Men of God wrote through the power of God the truth as He revealed it. (2 Tim 3:16-17, 2 Peter 2:16-21)
Unfading – Neither the smallest letter nor the smallest stroke will pass away until all is completed. God, in His sovereignty has maintained His Word as He has seen fit for the edification of His children. (Matt 5:18, 1 Peter 1:23-25)
Sufficient – The Word of God is sufficient for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work in all areas of life. (2 Tim 3:17)
III. Salvation
Justification – We are saved by grace through faith, not as a result of works. God first calls and draws us to Himself. We love Him because He first loved us. Christ’s redemptive work on the cross is sufficient, and no work must be added unto it for one’s salvation. In His sovereignty God has called His children before the foundation of the world, but He has in no way removed the human responsibility to repent and believe in His Son. (Rom 5:8, Rom 10:9, Eph 1:4-5, Eph 2:8-9, 1 John 4:19)
Sanctification – As a new creature, all believers are set apart unto the Lord and are called to a life of holiness. In the power of the Spirit in accordance with the Word of God, Christians display a changed life that marks them as distinct from the world. The fruit of the Spirit, though imperfectly, is evident in the life of a believer. (Rom 12:1-2, Gal 5:22-23, 1 Thess 4:3-4, 1 Pet 1:15-16)
Glorification – At second coming of Christ, believers will inherit an imperishable and glorified body. Free from the curse, stain, and practice of sin, believers will live in obedience to God to the glory of God for eternity. (Rom 8:18-21, 1 Cor 15:52-24, Rev 22:3)
IV. Man
Image – mankind has been made equally in the image of God, male and female He created them. Humanity is thus set as distinct from the rest of creation, as God has uniquely made a path of redemption for them. (Gen 1:26-27, Psalm 8:4-6, John 3:16)
Sin – All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. In Adam, all sinned. Man is sinful by nature and choice and has a severed relationship with his Creator which can only be restored through the work of Jesus Christ. (John 14:6, Rom 3:23, Rom 5:12-21, Eph 2:1-3)
Missions – All believers are called to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. God does not need us, but has chosen by His mercy and grace to use His children to spread the good news. Apart from hearing and believing in the gospel of Christ, there is no salvation for the unbeliever. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Matt 28:18-20, Rom 10:17, 2 Cor 5:18-20)
V. Eternity
Kingdom – Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. While Christ is currently seated at the right hand of the Father, He will one day literally rule for a thousand years. After which, all things will be made new, and the curse and stain of sin will forever be removed. (Mark 1:15, Heb 1:3, Rev 20:4-6, Rev 21:1-5).
Condemnation – There is a real place of eternal torment separated from God made for the devil and his angels into which all unbelievers will be cast into at the great white throne judgement. (Matt 25:41-46, Rev 20:11-15)
End times – Scripture calls us to not be uninformed about death and the last things. However, no man knows the day or the hour. Scripture is clear about a literal time of tribulation, false christs, the return of Jesus Christ, and His eternal reign. (Matt 24:4-5, Matt 24:36, 1 Thess 4:13-18, 2 Thess 2:3-4, Rev 19:11-16, Rev 20:4-6, Rev 21:1-3)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding.
